Yungeen Ace is an up-and-coming American rapper from Jacksonville, Florida. He recently gained fame with his excellent singles “Pain” and “F*ck That”. Before becoming famous, he made headlines because he was the only survivor of a driving shot. The shooting took place outside a restaurant in Jacksonville and claimed the lives of his brother and two close friends. He is also affiliated with the film music group.
His real name is Keyanta Tyrone Bullard, born on February 12, 1998 in Chicago, Illinois. At the age of 4, he and his family moved to Jacksonville, Florida. As one of 12 brothers, his single mother had an extremely difficult life. He recalled often going in and out of different houses. His father is serving his sentence in prison. At the age of 14, the worst happened. He has lost his beloved uncle; a man he considers to be a father figure. So Yungeen Ace turned to music and street life. When darkness surrounded his young life, Ace began to sing seriously. Use music to vent and tell his story. He claimed that his stage name came from his other uncle.

In February 2018, Yungeen Ace started uploading music online. Some of his earliest tracks “No Witness”, “All in” and “Find Myself” immediately gained attention on SoundCloud. In a few months, they received a total of millions of broadcasts. He continued to upload songs until the tragedy happened in June. On June 5, 2018, Yungeen Ace, his brother and two close friends were involved in a car shooting. When the smoke cleared, his 19-year-old brother Trevon Bullard was pronounced dead. His other two friends, 18-year-old Royale Smith Jr and 19-year-old Jercoby Groover, also died in the massacre. He was also in a critical condition after being hit by 8 bullets, but survived. After going through hardships, he got the support of NBA YoungBoy and Mista Cain.
Soon after, Yungeen Ace released his debut album “Life of Betrayal”. The project features JayDaYoungan and YoungBoy. The album is led by the outstanding singles “Pain”, “F*ck That” and “Jungle”. Most of the repertoire depicts his life’s struggle and the pain of losing his brother. The album was released in August and caused quite a stir. It has been played a total of 15 million times on SoundCloud. On YouTube, “Pain” leads with 13 million views in 2 months.
Due to legal issues, Ace will be placed under house arrest. In October, he was arrested for going to a mall without the permission of the probation officer. He is currently in police custody. After his release, he plans to cooperate with Lil Baby.
On March 10, 2019, Yungeen Ace and his entourage were ambushed at a hotel in Waycross, Georgia. Around 3:30 in the morning, a group of people opened fire on the rapper and staff. Of the four men, two were shot and one proved to be fatal. When the police arrived at the scene, they found the body of Jeremy Brookins (30 years old) by the swimming pool and the injured Dewayne Lamont Scott in a room. According to reports, Ace was not injured.
