Young Thug is an American rapper, best known for his single “Stoner”. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 9, 1992, his real name is Jeffrey Lamar Williams (Jeffrey Lamar Williams). He has been wearing women’s clothing since he was 12 years old. He claimed that they fit well. He played on the school football team while attending Washington High School. He moved to the Jonesboro project to develop his rap skills.

Young Thug made his debut in 2011 and released his mixtape series “I Created From Nothing”. In 2013, he signed with Gucci Mane’s 1017 Brick Squad Records. His fourth mixtape 1017 Thug pushed him into the mainstream and was named one of the best mixtapes by The Rolling Stones and Complex magazine. His first single Stoner was released on February 4, 2014 and was a commercial success. He has collaborated with many artists, including Kanye West, Rich Homie Quan and Waka Flocka Flame.

Thug released the mixtape Barter 6 in April 2015. He initially wanted to name the album “Tha Carter VI” in memory of his idol Lil Wayne. Thug’s other mixtapes include I’m Up, Slime Season 3 and No, My Name is Jeffery. He is currently signed with 300 Entertainment and Atlantic Records.
