William H. Macy is an American actor, director and screenwriter. He played “Frank Gallagher” on the Showtime comedy series Shameless. His film credits include Fargo (1996), Jurassic Park III (2001) and Wild Hogs (2007). William Hall Macy, Jr. was born on March 13, 1950, in Miami, Florida. His parents were William and Louis Sr. He has a half-brother named Fred. Massey attended Bethany College in West Virginia, followed by Goddard College in Vermont.
