Bar rescue
In each episode of “Bar Rescue”, Jon’s team monitors and scouts the troubled place, checking the environment, atmosphere, service, food and drink. With the consent of the owner, hidden cameras are installed in the bar so that the team can observe the situation in each area. Then, Jon also introduced himself to the employees and made suggestions on how to make the bar profitable. After changes in preparation, efficiency and customer service, the bar will conduct a stress test to check whether employees can cope with the stress of a busy night.
Then, the team overhauled the concept of the bar and made drastic changes to the menu as needed; the bar was refurbished and then reopened. Although most bars continue to be successful, not all bars have survived. Since the fourth quarter, approximately 40 bars have closed, and 78 bars have continued to operate since then, three of which have changed ownership. Because people refused to cooperate with bar rescue, he also walked out of four bars.
