Whitney Brown is an author and comedian who has a net worth of $500,000. Born in Charlotte, Michigan in July 1952, he is better known as “A. Whitney Brown”. He is best known for his writing on the NBC television series “Saturday Night Live.” On SNL, Brown appeared alongside Dennis Miller in a weekend update segment called “The Big Picture.”
Brown started his career as a street juggler before becoming a stand-up comedian. He joined the Writers Guild and wrote for Saturday Night Live from 1985 to 1991. In 1989, he won a Primetime Emmy for his work on SNL and received three other nominations. Brown starred in the 1992 film I Am Your Man. In 1995, Brown wrote for the television series Exit 57.

Brown was one of the original correspondents on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” when the show launched in 1996 with Craig Kilborne. He stayed on “The Daily Show” until 1998, the year before Jon Stewart took the helm.
Whitney Brown married musician and singer Carolyn Wonderland in 2011, and their wedding was officiated by the Monkees’ Michael Nesmith.
