Warren Buffett is an American businessman, investor, and chairman and chief executive officer of Berkshire Hathaway. He was born on August 30, 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and later a master’s degree in economics from Columbia University. He founded Buffett Partners in 1956, and by 1965, he controlled Berkshire Hathaway. Known as the “Omaha Oracle”, he became a millionaire in 1962, a billionaire in 1990, and was named the richest man in the world in 2008. Warren Buffett is still alive, with an estimated net worth of $105 billion.
