He was an All-American wrestler in high school and won California Junior College State Championship Wrestling for West Valley College. Le is undefeated in professional taekwondo with a 19-0 record and is a three-time taekwondo world champion. Le joined Strikeforce and made his debut in March 2006, when he eliminated Mike Altman in the first round. In March 2008, he won the Strikeforce middleweight title by defeating Frank Shamrock. Le’s first loss was to Scott Smith in December 2009, but he beat him in his final Strikeforce match in June 2010. Le’s first fight in the UFC was a November 2011 loss to Wanderlei Silva. His last game was a win over Franklin in November 2012. He is scheduled to face Michael Bisping at UFC Fight Night 48 in August 2014. Le was a coach and mentor in 2013 and 2014 for The Ultimate Fighter: China. As an actor, Le has starred in the movies “A Certain Justice”, “The Grandmaster”, “Tekken Man”, “Dragon Eye”, “Tekken” and so on. Cung has two sons with his ex-wife Suzanne.
