Vic Mensa is an American rapper, songwriter and former member of Kids This Days. He is currently signed to Jay Z’s Roc Nation label. His recordings include the album “Autobiography” (2017) and EP, “There are so many things going on” (2016) and “Manuscript” (2017). Mensa, whose real name is Victor Quisi Mensa, was born on June 6, 1993 in Chicago, Illinois. His father Edward is from Ghana and his mother Betsy is European. They are all educators. Mensa spent his childhood near Hyde Park. He attended Whitney M. Young Magnet High School and took martial arts classes as a child. He also tried roller skating.

About 16,000 copies of this album full of life experiences were sold in the first week. It is led by the single “Wings” starring Pharrell Williams and Saul Williams.
