Tucker Carlson is an American news anchor, columnist and co-founder of The Daily Caller. He currently serves as a political commentator for Fox News. Tucker McNeil Carlson was born on May 16, 1969 in San Francisco, California. His biological parents were Richard W. Carlson and Lisa McNear Lombardi. He was raised by his father and stepmother, Patricia Caroline Swanson. He also has a younger brother named Barkley. Carlson attended St. George’s School in Middletown, Rhode Island. He studied history at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.

He was named co-host of FOX & Friends Weekend in 2012. Carlson began hosting his iconic show Tucker Carlson Tonight in November 2016. It debuted as FNC’s most-watched show at 7 p.m. ET with more than 3 million viewers. The show replaced Megyn Kelly in January 2017 at 9pm ET, followed by Bill O’Reilly in April 2017 at 8pm ET.
Carlson and Neil Patel founded the news/opinion website The Daily Caller in 2010. The site covers a variety of topics from politics to sports to technology. Carlson was a contestant on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars in 2006. His partner is professional ballroom dancer Elena Grinenko. The duo was the first team to be eliminated.
