Toni Braxton is a Grammy Award-winning American singer, songwriter, actress and music producer. She has sold more than 67 million records and is known for hits like “Don’t Break My Heart,” “Another Sad Love Song,” and “He’s Not Men Enough.” Toni Michelle Braxton was born on October 7, 1967 in Severn, Maryland. Her mother, Evelyn, is a former opera singer, and her father, Michael, is a priest. She has four sisters: Tamar, Traci, Trina and Towanda, and a brother named Michael, Jr. Braxton attends Glen Burnie High School in Glen Burnie, Maryland. She continued her education at Bowie State University, hoping to become a music teacher.

As an actress, Braxton has appeared in numerous films and TV shows. Her TV debut was an episode of the 1994 comedy drama Dapeng. She played the role of “Terry Knox” in 3 episodes of the Kevin Hill (2011) series. Braxton’s film credits include Kingdom Come (2001) with LL Cool J, and The Oogieloves (2012) with Christopher Lloyd. She played herself on the reality series Braxton Family Values. The show premiered on WE tv in April 2011.
