Tim Thibault is a retired American professional football player. He is 6 feet 3 inches tall and serves as a quarterback. Tebow was born on August 14, 1987 in Makati, Philippines, his original name is Timothy Richard Tebow. His parents Pamela Elaine and Robert Ramsey were Baptist missionaries. He has four brothers and sisters, Robbie, Peter, Christie and Katie. Tebow grew up in Florida, where he was homeschooled by his parents. He participated in sports at Allen D. Nease High School and then studied at the University of Florida. He graduated in 2009 with a degree in family, youth and community science.

Tebow started his football career at Nease Panthers. He played the quarterback position and led the team to a state championship during his senior year. He also won statewide and high school national honors. Thibault played for the Florida Gators for four seasons (2006-09 season). He served as a substitute in his freshman year and was named the team’s starting quarterback in his sophomore year. Tebow won the famous Heisman Trophy in 2007 as the best all-around player. He also won the Davey O’Brien and Chic Harley awards. Tebow’s college records include a quarterback rushing yard of 2,947 yards, a passing efficiency of 170.8 and a completion rate of 67.1%. He led the team to two BCS championships.
Tebow was selected by the Denver Broncos with the 25th overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. He signed a five-year contract worth 11.25 million U.S. dollars. Tebow replaced Kyle Orton as the team’s starting quarterback in 2011. He led the Broncos into the division championship game, where they lost to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Soon after the Broncos acquired Peyton Manning, Thibault was traded to the New York Jets in 2012. He later played briefly for the New England Patriots (2013) and Philadelphia Eagles (2015). Tebow signed a minor league baseball contract with the New York Mets in 2016.
Thibault’s autobiography “Through My Eyes” was published by HarperOne in 2011. He signed with ESPN as a college football analyst in 2013.
