Tim Blake Nelson Net Worth: Tim Blake Nelson is an American actor, director and writer who has a net worth of $5 million. Nelson was born into a Jewish family in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After graduating from Holland Hall High School, he attended the Oklahoma Summer Art Institute in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma.
In 1986, he went on to earn a degree from Brown University, where he also received the Workman/Driskoll Award for excellence in classical studies. He also graduated from the prestigious Juilliard School in 1990. Nelson’s first work was the 1992 play The Eye of God. He then landed on “The Gray Area,” which opened in 1996 at the MCC Theater in New York. This is the same theater where he made “Anadarko” in 1998. As an actor, Nelson has appeared in many productions, both on screen and in theater. Including the film Where Are You Brother, directed by brother duo Joel and Ethan Cohen, became a cult classic. He’s also recognized as the only actor on the show to have read Homer’s Odyssey, on which the film is (loosely) based. Nelson is married to Lisa Benavides, with whom they have three sons.
