Who is Choi Youngjae?
Choi Youngjae was born on September 17, 1996 in Mokpo City, South Korea. He is a singer, songwriter and dancer, most famously as a member of the K-pop boy band Got7, where he performed under the stage name Youngjae. He is the lead singer of the band and has released many music projects and some personal projects with them.

Early life, education and career starting point
Young Jae was very interested in music when he was young and went to the local music school in Mokpo as a junior high school student. During this period, JYP Entertainment, one of the country’s largest entertainment companies, held a closed-door audition at the school. The audition was successful and became a trainee of JYP.
The company is responsible for creating a number of popular behaviors, including Twice, 2PM and JJ Project. They have also managed Wonder Girls, Miss A and 2AM before.
After only one month of training, he was selected as a member of the new men’s team project, but due to the long preparation time, he continued to train for the next six months. He later studied at the Korean Art High School in Seoul, and then went to Seokyon University to study drama and film.

Then they produced their seventh EP, called “7 for 7”, which included Youngjae’s tracks. Youngjae is also considered a songwriter named Ars. They subsequently released a Japanese EP “Turn Up”. In 2018, they were appointed honorary ambassadors of the Korea Fire Department, and subsequently released “Eyes on You”. They went on a world tour to promote their music, performing in Asia, Europe, South America and North America.
Later in the same year, they released their third studio album “Present: You”, which included the lead single “Lullaby”.

In 2019, they released their third Japanese EP “I Won’t Let You Go”, which topped Japan’s Gazette Daily Albums chart and remained at the top of the chart for a whole week. They also released their ninth EP titled “Spinning Top: Between Security & Insecurity”. One of their latest releases is the 10th EP “Call My Name” at the end of 2019.
personal life
As we all know, Young Jae is single, busy working with Got7, and has little time to pursue a long-term relationship.
If he wants to build a relationship, it will be someone he finds naturally attractive. Many members of Got7 call him a genius because of his talent. He knows how to speak Korean and Japanese, and has spent a lot of time improving his skills, believing that he should practice and improve like sleeping.
He has two tattoos on his upper arm, one of which is a ribbon commemorating the sunken ship of Shiyue MV. He has a dog named Coco.
