Who is Nayeon?
Lin Na Yeon was born in Seoul, South Korea on September 22, 1995. She is a member of the girl group Twice under JYP Entertainment. She is a singer under the stage name Na Yeon. After participating in the reality show “Sixteen”, she was selected as a member of the group.

Early life and career start
Nayeon aspired to become a K-pop idol when she was young, even though she kept her family secret. In 2010, she learned that JYP Entertainment held a public audition in Seoul, and successfully auditioned, becoming a trainee of the company. In the next three years, she received JYP training and improved her skills-vocal and dance skills, as well as many other aspects.
In 2013, she plans to join the girl group 6Mix planned by JYP. They gathered all the members for this new combination, but because the later combination plan was shelved, they never debuted.

As the name suggests, “Sixteen” allows 16 aspiring K-pop idols to compete with each other to gain a place in the girl group Twice. They were tested for singing ability, dance, personality and charm. The show aired 10 episodes on Mnet, and Nayeon became one of nine successful contestants.
This newly created group named Twice is also composed of Tzuyu, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, and Dahyun.
They made their debut in the extended play (EP) “Story Start” later in 2015. The band promotes itself in a colorful pop music style, influenced by rock, hip hop and R&B. Within five months of their debut, their music video “Like Ohh-Ahh” has reached 50 million views on YouTube, becoming one of the most watched debuts of all K-pop groups.
They soon followed up with another EP called “Page Two”, which contained singles such as “I’m Gonna Be a Star”, “Precious Love” and “Cheer Up”.
It sold more than 150,000 copies, as did their first EP. On the first anniversary of their founding, they released their third EP-“Twicecoaster Lane 1”-and released a music video for the single “TT”, which attracted more than 200 million views on YouTube.
Recent projects and honors
Two tours to promote their music in South Korea, and then visited parts of Southeast Asia, such as Singapore. Before making the fourth EP called “Signal”, they announced their Japanese debut with a compilation album of the same name.
After establishing a partnership in Japan, they began touring and releasing songs, and their compilation ranked second on the Oricon album chart. Later in 2017, they released their first full-length album called “Twicetagram”, which contained the single “Likey”.
They also made their debut in the Amber Song Chorus that year, making them the first Korean artist to appear at the event six years later. With a steady momentum, they continued to release music including singles such as “What Is Love?” And “yes or”.

In 2019, they made history and became the first female K-pop actor to embark on a tour of the Japanese dome. One of their latest editions is EP “Feel Special”, which is very popular in North America. Since 2016, they have continuously sold more than one million albums on Gaon.
personal life
Nayeon is single and has not been involved in any public relationship since his debut with Twice. Due to her busy schedule, she is unlikely to have a boyfriend, which is common for many K-pop idols.
She is one of Twice’s best singers and dancers, often placed in the center of the dance. She is also the oldest member and one of the most popular members in the group. In 2019, she was ranked as the fifth most popular Korean idol in the annual music poll in Gallup, South Korea.
In 2020, JYP Entertainment issued a restraining order against a stalker who was ruthlessly stalking Nayan despite being warned by the police. He tried to approach her many times, including during an airplane trip, which caused great disturbance.
