The unknown truth about the members of Pristin V-Lin Naying

Who is Lin Naying?

Lin Naying was born on December 18, 1995 in Gwanak, Seoul, South Korea. He is a singer and rapper, most famously a member of the K-pop group Pristin managed by Pledis Entertainment from 2017 to 2019. She is also a member of the girl group IOI, which stems from the success of the reality show “Produce 101”.

Lin Naying’s wealth

As of the beginning of 2020, Lin Naying’s net worth is estimated to exceed 500,000 US dollars, which is obtained through a successful career in the music industry.

She earns income by working with the women’s group on TV and engaging in personal activities after Pristan’s dissolution.

Early life, education and career starting point

Lim grew up in Gwanak and decided to join the entertainment industry when he was young. She studied at Muhe Girls’ High School, and after enrollment, she studied at Tongduk Women’s University and studied in the Department of Broadcasting. This private women’s university is famous for its art courses, where several K-pop artists are educated.

During her studies, she began to participate in auditions, hoping to have the opportunity to become a K-pop idol.

She was successful in auditions for Pledis Entertainment, which led her to join the company, which is well known for several popular performance venues, including Seventeen, After School, and Bumzu. As a member of Pledis, she made her first public appearance on the TV show “Produce 101”. 101 female trainees from different institutions competed fiercely for the final lineup of the project girl group IOI.

Five trainees from Pledis participated, but only she and Kyulkung entered the final lineup; she ranked 10th after receiving more than 130,000 votes to secure her place.

Cooperation with IOI

After preparation and some delays, the group released their first single “Crush”, and a month later their first album “Chrysalis” released the title song “Dream Girls”. Soon after, they made their debut in “M Countdown” with the single “Knock Knock Knock”. The group is achieving success, but three of its members soon left the group and returned to their respective entertainment companies. A new girl group project is underway.

The remaining members continued to perform and released singles “Whatta Man (Good Man)” and “Hand in Hand”.

Later in the same year, they released the EP “Miss Me?” which included the lead single “Very Very Very”, leading them to win their first music show in “Show Champion”. Just before the end of the year, the group announced its dissolution and held their last performance in early 2017. Lim returned to Pledis, and things were quiet for a few months.

Then it was announced that she would join a new girl group called “Pristin” with Kyulkung, and joined eight members including Hee Yeon, Roa, Yuha, Eunwoo, Rena, Kyla, Sungyeon and Yehana.

Pristin, Disbandment and Solo work

Many members of Pristin have already done guest work for other artists, although Nayoung and Kyulkung are still the most popular members through their success at IOI. The group released the music video “We”, which is an introduction to each member.

Then they released their first EP-“Hi! Pristin”-the title song “Wee Woo”. Then they performed in various events, even during the 2017 Seoul Dream Concert. A few months later, they released another EP called “Schxxl Out”, which contained the single “We Like”.

Later that same year, member Keira left the organization due to health problems and returned to the United States to recover. In 2018, a new team, Pristin V, consisting of Naying, Luo Ya, Reina, Kyu Kun, and Yin Woo was established.

After Pristin V’s album “Like a V”, things were silent for a year, and then it was announced that the group had been disbanded, and seven of them chose to leave the company.

Na Ying was one of the people who decided to leave. A few months later, she signed an exclusive contract with Sublime Artist Agency. After she sang, she became a publicity ambassador for Insadong, a popular tourist attraction in the country.

personal life

Na-young is single. Like many Korean artists, she is still very focused on her work and has almost no time to pursue any romantic career. In any case, for the sake of image, this must be approved by the management.

Although she is no longer a member of Pristin and IOI, their members are still very close, and her parents own a restaurant where they occasionally meet. In her free time, she likes listening to music, drawing and painting. Although she likes to make everyone happy, she is often considered a stoic person. After leaving Pledis, she expressed her desire to pursue acting and choreography.
