Who is Ren Jun?
Huang Renjun, born on March 23, 2000 in Jilin, China, is a singer and a member of the South Korean boy group NCT. He gained fame as a member of NCT Dream, the third team of NCT, but he has also cooperated with other NCT teams many times.

Early life and career start
Renjun has Korean and Chinese descent and grew up in Jilin, learning Mandarin, Korean and English. At a young age, he showed his singing ability, making him determined to enter the entertainment circle. After learning about K-pop groups and idols, he began auditioning to seek an opportunity to sign with a company, and he succeeded in auditioning for the largest SM entertainment company in Korea.
The company is known for having groups such as BoA, Red Velvet, Exo, Super Junior and Girls’ Generation.
In 2013, he started planning the NCT large-scale boy group project, and was selected as a large-scale trainee group of SM Rookies. It is home to many trainees who have not yet been selected as an idol group. There have been many auditions, and Renjun is one of the people selected through the global audition. Others were discovered through recommendations, entertainment shows, and street casting.

In 2016, it was announced that a team called NCT would be created and divided into teams located around the world.
NCT dream
After the announcement of the NCT, sub-units were created, each of which focuses on a different market. NCT U or NCT United was the first to be established, performing in Korea and China, with members including Taeyong, Ju, Mark, Jae Hyun, Doyoung, and Taey. Then a second unit called NCT 127 was created, which is more based in Seoul, with members including Haechan, Mark, Winwin, Jaehyun, Yuta, Taeyong, and Taeil.
Renjun was introduced as a member of the third group of NCT Dream, which consists of seven members, namely Zhixing, Chenle, Jaemin, Haican, Jeno and Mark. Released the first single “Chewing Gum” and made his debut in “M Countdown”. In 2017, various sub-units carried out multiple promotions with Dream, released their first single “The First”, and returned in “M Countdown”. However, due to health issues, Jaemin was clearly absent from the group.
In the same year, they were announced as ambassadors for the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup, and they wrote a theme song for this. They subsequently launched their first extended play (EP) called “We Young”.
Recently cooperated with NCT
In 2018, a large-scale project called NCT 2018 was announced, which involves all members of the group. Three new members were also introduced. They produced their first full album “NCT 2018 Empathy”, which contains songs such as “Boss”, “Yestoday” and “Go” and features various subunits.
Later in the same year, NCT Dream released their second EP titled “We Go Up”, and then released the single “Candle Light” as part of the SM Station project. Later that same year, a fourth subunit called WayV was created.
In 2019, these groups began to tour the world independently as sub-units. NCT Dream released the single “Don’t Need Your Love” as part of the third season of “SM Station” in collaboration with HRVY. This led them to create a third EP called “We Boom”, which contains the lead single “Boom”.

The members also announced that since most people are already 19 years old, they will eventually graduate from Dream, because it is said that the maximum age of this group is 19 years old. It is not clear whether Renjun will join other units or participate in a new one.

It is understood that Ren Jun is single and very young, focusing on his career development in NCT.
His busy schedule also means that he has little time for other activities. He is considered the lead singer of Dream, although he mentioned that he worked hard to improve his dance.
