Who is Bambam?
Kunpimook Bhuwakul was born on May 2, 1997 in Bangkok, Thailand. He is a singer, rapper, songwriter, dancer and record producer. He is best known for performing professionally under the name BamBam and as a member of the Korean boy band Got7. The band produced popular songs such as “Flight Log: Turbulence”, “Eyes on You” and “Understand?”

Early life and career start
BamBam aspired to work in the entertainment industry when he was young. He likes to dance, and he became a member of the dance company We Zaa Cool when he was a child, including Lisa. Who later became a member of Blackpink. His stage name comes from the character Bamm-Bamm Rubble of “The Flintstones”-the show was one of his favorite shows as a kid.
Subsequently, he was recruited by JYP Entertainment, one of Korea’s largest entertainment companies. After moving to the country, he received more than three years of training there. He first appeared on TV in 2013 as part of the reality show “WIN: Who Is Next” and he joined three other future members of Got7. He trained while JYP was still recruiting members for the upcoming boy band, competing with YG Entertainment trainees who would later become iKon and the winner.

Soon after they appeared, he debuted with Got7 the following year, which was the first JYP boy band since the establishment of 2PM in 208.
Got7’s success
Not long after their debut, BamBam and Got7 released the band’s first EP, titled “Got It?”, which topped the Billboard World Albums Chart for the first time. They also reached the second place on the Korean Gaon Music Chart, which measures the popularity of songs and albums in Korea.
Soon, this band attracted people’s attention, especially their live performances. The group emphasizes their performance ability. They can dance B-boy dance and martial arts. Many people compare them with their predecessor, 2 PM, who specializes in acrobatic dance moves.

Some of their recent releases include “Eyes On You”, “Spinning Top: Between Security & Insecurity” and their 10th EP “Call My Name”.
Other projects and activities
In addition to releasing music with Got7, BamBam often participates in other projects, such as appearing in the variety show “Real Men” and appearing with his band partner Jackson. He also served as the permanent host of the show “M Countdown” with Jinyoung and held that position for one year.
He also ventured into business and created a clothing brand called double. The launch of his business witnessed the release of a limited edition design, and the proceeds will be donated to the Water.org organization, which aims to provide safe drinking water to communities.

He also produced videos for Got7’s YouTube channel, held personal fan meetings in Thailand, and visited five cities.
In 2019, he and the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security of Thailand to prevent child abuse became the spokesperson of UNICEF Thailand against child abuse. He also helped children affected by the Ubon Ratchathani flood. He recently collaborated with rapper F. Hero and produced a video for Got7’s YouTube channel showing the band’s tour in the United States.
personal life
