However, on the way to the shopping mall during junior high school, she was spotted by an employee of JYP Entertainment, one of Korea’s largest entertainment companies, and was invited to participate in the annual JYP Japan audition held in the country.
She passed the audition, entered the JYP trainee program, and moved to South Korea in 2012. She began to learn languages and developed her singing and dancing skills in the next three years. She originally planned to join a new girl group with several future members of Twice, but the project was later cancelled. Instead, she starred in the reality show “Sixteen”, which was designed to help identify the members of the girl group Twice. Of the 16 contestants, only nine were selected, and she was one of the winners.

personal life
Sana is single, and like many K-pop artists, they are more willing to maintain relationships with the public. Because of their busy schedules, they often have little time to fall in love.
In 2019, she commented on the change of the Japanese era from Heisei to Reiwa after the coronation of the new emperor, and commented online that she would miss the era when she was born. However, critics believe that this was a time when tensions between Korea and Japan were caused by the history of the Japanese empire to rule Korea. Many of her fans defended her and accused critics of making comments without her making any statements at all.
