Creation of Topp Dogg
The 13 members of Topp Dogg are A-Tom, Hansol, Nakta, P-Goon, Jenissi, Gohn, Kidoh, Seogoong, Sangwon, Xero, B-Joo, Sangdo and Hojoon. They were created by record producer Cho PD, the founder of Stardom Entertainment, which was originally signed with the record company. After training and formal establishment of the members, Stardom began to promote them by releasing a mixtape before the official introduction in 2012.
In 2013, Topp Dogg was introduced to the public and staged their first live performance at the beginning of the year. Then, they released the first music video of the single “Follow Me” to promote their debut, Extended Play (EP) Dogg’s Out. Then they re-released the repackaged EP with the new single and the Chinese version of “Follow Me”. In early 2014, they started their second EP, releasing the music video “Open the Door” followed by “Arario”.

They continue to release the third EP in “AmadeuS”. However, EP found a problem because all of its contents were leaked to the Internet. Stardom did its best to eliminate the leak and then took legal action against the pirates.
Continuous release
Due to these problems, the team repackaged the entire EP, showing the new track and the short film after the album was shot. On their first anniversary, they released the song “Annie”, but then remained silent for several months.
One of their members moved to a squad called Under Dogg to focus on different music, but in 2015, the group toured the United States to Atlanta, Miami Beach, and Houston. Later that year, the group moved to Hunus Entertainment after merging with Stardom.
After moving, members Gohn and Kidoh filed a lawsuit for mismanagement of their careers, accusing them of severe limitations on their potential and abilities.
Despite this, their music creation continues, and they released the fourth pre-EP trailer called “The Beat”, which has the title song of the same name.
In 2016, they produced the soundtrack for the TV series “Come Back Mister”, and several members released solo or duo tracks. Jenissi, A-Tom and Yano then participated in the rap show “Show Me the Money”, but only A-Tom passed the audition and bur was eliminated in the second round.
Recent projects and Xeno-T
The team’s next project will be a web series called “Topp Dogg: All-Kill”, which will have 10 episodes and its members will challenge the show. In 2016, they released the album “First Street”, and Jenissi who left the group to pursue a solo career no longer appears on the album. A-Tom also temporarily left the team to participate in the second season of “Creation 101” and enter the third round of elimination. Yano, Baojun, B-Joo, Xero and Sangdo then participated in the reality show “The Unit”.

After the group was promoted, it was revealed that the three members Nakta, P-Goon and Hansol also left. The first two pursued their personal careers in music and acting, while Hansol left to join the army.
In 2018, it was announced that the group had restarted and reduced their roster to five members, named Xeno-T. This is to show a new side of yourself and cause others to stop rejoining the group.
The members of Xeno-T are now Hojoon, Sangto, B-Joo and Sangwon formerly known as Yano.
After their creation, they released their first Japanese single “Wherever You Are”.
Enlistment and interest
After the re-creation of the group in 2018, as the group did not announce any new music release plans, everything seems to have calmed down. In 2019, it was announced that one of the members, B-Joo, would complete his compulsory military service. Both Hunus Entertainment and B-Joo issued statements to resolve the matter, and his absence in the group may be one of them. They haven’t created any new music for a reason.
The members of Xeno-T showed various interests. Sando is left-handed and likes Japanese movies. Hojoon likes to dance and is also very interested in fashion design. B-Joo likes Japanese cuisine and also watches many foreign movies. Xero likes shopping, and his favorite food is pasta. Shang Yuan is also known for his talent in production and is the only member of the group who lives alone.
