Apink’s success
In the following years, Apink achieved great success in Korea and Japan. They released a lot of singles and continued to perform in Japan, appearing in many places. After the release of their seventh EP “One & Six”, the band started another Asian tour, after which their song “I’m So Sick” won the Melon Music Award.
In 2019, the group held the fifth concert “Pink Collection: Red and White”, and then held a concert called “Apink Japan Live Pink Collection” in Tokyo. One of their latest albums is their eighth EP, called “Percent”, which ranks third on the Korean charts.
Apink is often compared with many first-generation idol groups such as Fin.KL and SES. They are also identified by their innocent and pure image, rather than the more popular sexy style that most modern girl groups focus on.
