Tfemi is a Nigerian-American rapper. Oluwafemi Taiwo was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 15, 1996. Tfemi has lived in Brooklyn, London and New Jersey. Tfemi studied at Manor College in Pennsylvania and William Paterson University in New Jersey. It was at William Patterson that Tfemi began to develop his rapper skills.

Profession
While studying at William Patterson in 2016, Tfemi established contacts with other artists and producers, which will help start his career. In 2017, Tfemi released the single “I Wanna” on SoundCloud, which attracted the attention of the late rapper XXXtentacion and increased the number of views of the song to 100,000 times.

Soon after, Tfemi continued to release his first mixtape “Never Scared to Lose EP”, which included local New Jersey artists such as J4 and Ray Bentley. As he continued to progress on the basis of his early success, Tfemi released the mixtape “Goat Mode” and the hip-hop/RnB mixtape “79 to You” in 2018.
