Terry Kennedy’s net worth and salary: Terry Kennedy is a retired American professional baseball player with a net worth of 3.5 million US dollars. Terry Kennedy was born in Euclid, Ohio in June 1956. Kennedy is a catcher who played college ball at Florida State University, where he was twice selected as the best player in the United States and won the Sports Journalism Player of the Year award in 1976.
Terry was inducted into the FSU Track and Field Hall of Fame in 1982. He was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals with the 6th overall pick in the 1977 Major League Baseball Draft. He played for the Cardinals, San Diego Padres, Baltimore Orioles and San Francisco Giants for 14 seasons. During his career, Kennedy was selected to the All-Star four times and won the Silver Rod in 1983. He hit 113 home runs and recorded 628 RBI. In 1982, he tied the 40 doubles record set by Johnny Bench. Terry participated in the World Series for the Padres and Giants. After retiring after the 1991 season, he managed and coached several minor league teams, including the Cardinals, Padres, Montreal Expo, Seattle Mariners, Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers. He has been named Manager of the Year twice. In 2005, he won his only championship as a member of the San Diego Surf Dodgers.
