Teresa Giudice is an American reality TV star, author and entrepreneur. She is best known for her appearances on Real Housewives of New Jersey and The Celebrity Apprentice. Her publications include the “Skinny Italian” and “Fabulicious!” series of books. Giudice was born Teresa Gorga on May 18, 1972 in Paterson, New Jersey. She has a younger brother named Joe. Her parents, Antonia and Giacinto Gorga, were Italian immigrants. Her mother, Antonia, died in March 2017 at the age of 66.

Giudice is a graduate of Berkeley College in New Jersey. She studied fashion marketing and management. After graduation, she worked as an assistant buyer at Macy’s in New York City. Giudice was one of the original cast members of the reality series The Real Housewives of New Jersey. The show premiered on Bravo on May 12, 2009. Seven seasons have been completed so far. Giudice appeared in issue 5 of Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice in 2015. She raised $70,000 for the charity “NephCure” before being fired. Giudice’s own reality series, Teresa Checks In, premiered on Bravo in October 2015. It has three episodes titled “Tre of Life”, “Mr. Mama’s Shore” and “The Visit”.
In addition to television, Judith is a successful author and entrepreneur. Her first book, Skinny Italy: Eat It and Enjoy It? Live La Bella Vita and Look Great, Too! was published by Hachette Books in April 2010. She followed up with three “Amazing!” recipes published by Running Press. Her latest publication, Turning It Around: From Housewife to Prisoner and Back, was released in February 2016. Giudice is also known for its Bellini cocktail line Fabellini and hair care line Milania.
