Tasia was born in New York City on April 5, 1967, and married her beloved husband. They have three children together.
On February 16, 2016, Tasia posted a couple photo with her husband on Instagram, captioning “19 years ago on Valentine’s Day! Love my valentine more than ever!”

Inspired by Oprah’s show “The Big Five,” Tasia Valenza and her husband started her philanthropic journey by sponsoring the first orphan. She took advantage of her fame and love to find sponsors for 80 orphans to have a suitable home and family in SOS Children’s Villages around the world.
Tasia has set herself a goal of sponsoring 100 children by 2010.
Providing a family structure for orphans is the main reason she works with SOS Children’s Village, she said:
“Orphans have moms so all siblings can live together in a family environment. Families create their own homes and each family is part of a community. Since I can’t adopt any children personally, I feel good, I am helping to provide loving and stable adoptive families, food and education to these wonderful children”
Tasia not only encourages her husband to get involved in philanthropy, but also engages her own children in her charitable projects. Speaking to sos-usa.org, she said:
“It’s so rewarding to be able to give my children the opportunity to have compassion, charity and awareness that they helped a less fortunate child than they were.”
