Sugrafton is an American mystery novelist. She is best known for the alphabetical series of detectives starring the private detective “Kinsey Millhone”. She also served as a TV writer for several years. Grafton was born on April 24, 1940 in Louisville, Kentucky. Her father CW Grafton is a crime novelist and lawyer, and her mother Vivian Harnsberger is a teacher. She has an older sister named Ann. Grafton studied at the University of Louisville, Western Kentucky University and the University of Louisville. She graduated in 1961 with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature. The Kinsey Millhone series continues to publish a new book for each letter in the alphabet. Selected versions include “C” for corpse (1986), “J” for trial (1993), “P” for danger (2001) and “V” for revenge (2011). The latest issue of “Y stands for Yesterday” was published in August 2017. The series finale “Z is for Zero” is scheduled to be released in 2019. Grafton’s books have been translated into different languages ​​and sold worldwide.
