Steven Bokoko net worth: Steven Bokoko was an American television writer and producer who had a net worth of $150 million at the time of his death. Steven Bochco is known for producing several successful TV series including “Hill Street Blues”, “LA Law”, “Doogie Howser, MD” and “NYPD Blue” to name a few.

Steven Ronald Bochco was born on December 16, 1943 in New York City, New York. He studied drama and dramatic writing at Carnegie Institute of Technology. A writer for Universal Pictures, he has worked on shows such as Ironside, Columbo and McMillan & Wife. He wrote Columbus: Murder in 1971. He joined MTM Enterprises in 1978 and worked as a writer and co-creator at Hill Street Blues. The series received 98 Emmy nominations. After MTM, he moved to 20th Century Fox, where he produced and co-founded LA Law from 1986 to 1994. He then founded Steven Bochco Productions, which led to Doogie Howser, MD, who was the co-creator of NYPD Blue, which ran from 1993 to 2005. During his career, Steven Bokoko has won 10 Emmy Awards, including 6 for the Hill Street Blues. He was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame in 1996. He married Hill Street blues actress Barbara Boyson in 1970. They had two children together before their divorce in 1997, before marrying Dana Cullins in 2000. His son Jesse directed his father’s series and appeared on Hill Street Blues. Steven was diagnosed with leukemia in 2014, which unfortunately took his life on April 1, 2018. He was 74 when he died.
