Stephen Amell is a Canadian actor, producer and philanthropist. He played “Queen Oliver/Arrow” on the CW series “Arrow”. His TV credits also include The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Private Practice. Amell was born to parents Sandra and Thomas on May 8, 1981 in Toronto, Canada. He attended St Andrew’s College in Aurora, Ontario.

Before becoming an actor, Amer was a spinning coach. His TV debut was an episode of the 2004 Showtime series Queer as Folk. That same year, he was the doorman in Degrassi: The Next Generation. Amell played “Adam” in the first season of Dante’s Cove (2005). From 2006 to 2008, he starred in the 18-episode “Rent-a-Goalie” series. In 2007, he won a Gemini Award for his cameo appearance on “Craig Riddlemeyer” in ReGenesis.
Amell starred in the action crime series “Arrow” as the protagonist “Queen Oliver”, aka “Arrow”. The show premiered on The CW in October 2012. Amell voiced the character “Arrow” for the video games “Injustice: The Gods Among Us” (2013) and “Lego Batman: Beyond Gotham” (2014). He also voiced the animated web series Vixen (2015-16). Amell appeared in two episodes of WWE Raw in 2015. He teamed up with Neville in doubles matches against King Barrett and Stardust. They were victorious. His performance earned him a Grand Slam award for “Celebrity Moment of the Year”.
