He is 6’1” and weighs 425 lbs. He is best known for his international championship by World Wrestling Entertainment, and Two-time World Tag Team Champion and one-time WWE Tag Team Champion.

In 1985 he started wrestling for Gino Brito and Dino Bravo in Montreal. He later created the Samoan SWAT team with his cousin through the World Wrestling Council. After signing with the World Wrestling Federation, they changed their name to The Headshrinkers. After his cousin left due to injury, Fatou continued as a solo wrestler, competed on the Indie Tour, and later returned to WWE. He is part of the Anoa’i family and has a twin brother named Sam Fatu. Solofa Fatu has twins of his own named Jonathan and Joshua Samuel. He has five children in total. Fatu’s other ring names include Alofa the Polynesian Prince, Headshrinker Fatu, JR Smooth, Junior Fatu, Kishi, Rikishi, Riki-Shi, Rikishi Fatu and The Sultan. He currently resides in Poincana, Florida.
