Ski Mask the Slump God is an American rapper and head of a very rare rap group. He is known for tracks such as “Take A Step Back”, “Where’s The Blow” and “Life is Short”. His recordings include mixtapes, Beware the Book of Eli (2018) and Drown-in-Designer (2016), as well as EPs, Very Rare Lost Files (2016) and Slaps for My Drop-Top Minivan (2016). He was named to the XXL Freshman Class of 2018. Ski Mask was born on April 18, 1996 in Stokeley Clevon Goulbourne, Florida. He grew up in Broward County.

Ski Mask the Slump God grew up listening to music like Wu-Tang Clan, Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliott and Lil Wayne. The first time he met rapper XXXTentacion was in a juvenile detention center. The two became friends and have since collaborated on several tracks. After his release, Ski Mask started the rap group Very Rare. He is also a “Members Only” member of XXXTentacion, Wifisfuneral and Craig Xen. His first song “Catch Me” was released in late 2015. His single “BabyWipe” was released by Republic Records in April 2017 and produced by CashMoneyAP.

Beware Book of Eli is Ski Mask’s third mixtape, released in May 2018 by Victor and Republic Records. The tape reached No. 50 on the Billboard 200 and No. 28 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. It was supported by the single “DoIHaveTheSause?” produced by FH3 Beats. The production team also includes Murda Beatz, Jimmy Duval and Timbaland. Rappers Ronny J, SahBabii and Rich the Kid made cameos.

On April 10, 2017, Ski Mask opened for Desiigner at the Outlet Tour in California. During the performance, he got into an argument with rapper Rob Stone. He was reportedly jumped by Rob and his entourage.
