Shordie Shordie is an American music entrepreneur and the first Baltimore rapper to be certified as a platinum artist by RIAA. Before these plaques appeared, Shordie was a member of the Baltimore trio “Peso Da Mafia”. Because of their popular singing and dancing known as “Money Man”, the band became a sensation in their hometown early on. Shordie’s personal projects include “Captain Hook”, “>Music” and “Memory Lane”, which is a joint collaborative project with Murda Beatz. Xiao Di is currently signed with Warner Records.

He was born in Raquan Hudson on August 6, 1996, and grew up on the streets of northeastern Baltimore where crime is rampant. Shordie attributes his musical style to the early influences of Rich Homie Quan, Lil Wayne and Boosie Badazz. Shordie’s first full-length solo album “Captain Hook” was released in December 2018. It is led by the fan’s favorite single “Bitchuary” on the charts. Shordie soon returned with heavy follow-up tracks “Both Sides” (Feat. Shoreline Mafia), Bonnie & Clyde and FDP; all of which accumulated more than 20M audio streams and 10M video views.
Recently, Shortie launched his joint project with super producer Murda Beatz, which includes hit singles “Doctors”, “Seattle” and “LOV Pt 2” (Feat. Trippie Redd). This is the predecessor of his second full-length studio album “Captain Hook 2”.
