origin
Sheff G is an American training rapper from Brooklyn, New York. He is the artist behind the popular singles “No Suburban”, “Flow”, “Tonight” and “We Got Money”. He is also known for “panic”; a series of easy-to-spread repertoires. Most of his works, if not all, are distributed under the Empire Distribution Label. He has worked with Sleepy Hallow, Pop Smoke and Corey Finesse.
His real name is Michael Williams, born on September 23, 1998 in Brooklyn, New York. He grew up in the Flatbush area of the borough. He grew up in a Caribbean family; his father is Haitian and his mother is Trinidad. Although it is well known that parents in the Caribbean are very strict, Sheff G encountered a lot of trouble. He participated in many fights and eventually clashed with law enforcement agencies. He was only 16 years old when he was first arrested. Two years later, Sheff G was arrested for possession of a gun and is currently on probation for 5 years. In a street melee, his head was even cut and had to be stitched up. He went to high school, but dropped out in the 12th grade. In terms of music, Sheff G grew up in the voice of Chicago-trained rappers such as G Herbo, Chief Keef and Lil Bibby.
Profession
Like many rappers, Sheff G wets his feet by playing with beats and experimenting in the recording studio. One of his first public tracks is “4 Them Racks” ft Sleepy Hallow and company. The official video was uploaded in April 2017 and currently has more than one million views online. The following month, Sheff G released one of his most famous singles “No Suburban”. Not only is it very popular, but the song needs to be remixed. The mix featuring Corey Finesse arrived in July. Since its release in 2017, the track has been played more than 10 million times.
From 2018 to the present, Sheff G has continuously flooded the radio waves with a series of hits. In April 2018, his collaboration with Sleepy Hallow and Double G’s “Panic Part 2” made him a true training rapper. Within a year, the number of views of music videos alone exceeded 3 million. Similar to the first chapter, the second part gets a lot of playing time. Five months later, the third phase landed and was well received. Other popular tracks include “Flows” and “Attic”. Both were recorded with Sleepy Hallow.
In 2019, he kept driving at full speed. At least 3 of his singles are buzzing throughout the year. Among them, “Automatic” and “Tonight” are very popular. In September 2019, Sheff G released his first project “The Unluccy Luccy Kid”. The 14-track tape starring Sleepy Hallow and Mozzy is led by one of his latest singles “We Getting Money”.
personal
Sheff G’s height is under review. His net worth is estimated at 750,000 U.S. dollars. In his stage name, “G” stands for gangster. His music is deeply influenced by the Chicago practice rap scene. Another rapper who pledged allegiance to Brooklyn, New York is Casanova. Unlike his American citizen father, Sheff G’s mother was born in the Caribbean. In an interview, he explained that it was his grandmother, not his parents, who were responsible for disciplinary action. His longest prison life lasted 3-4 months. Sheff G is also part of the Crip group. He used to have braids, but now he is shaking a 360-degree wave. He owes part of his success to many people who think he sounds like an Englishman.
