Shaquille O’Neal is a former American professional basketball player who became a screen analyst for the postgame show Inside the NBA. Shaq was born on March 6, 1972 in Newark, New Jersey. He was 7-foot-1 and weighed 325 pounds in his prime. He attended Robert G. Cole High School and led his team to an impressive 68-1 record. He attended Louisiana State University to study business, but dropped out to pursue basketball. While at LSU, he was named College Player of the Year in 1991 and later inducted into the LSU Hall of Fame.
