Sean Horkoff, born in Terrell, British Columbia, Canada in 1978, is a 6-foot-1, 210-pound left-handed center. The Edmonton Oilers selected Horkov with the 99th overall pick in the 1998 NHL draft.
Hokoff played for the Oilers’ AHL affiliate before being called up to the big clubs in December 2000. He has played with the Oilers for most of his career so far and even signed a new six-year, $33 million deal with the club in July 2008, traded after the 2012-13 season before the Dallas Stars. As of the fall of 2014, Horcoff is currently serving as an alternate captain with the Stars organization. Despite serving as the Oilers captain and integral to the team reaching the Stanley Cup Finals, Khokov never made an NHL All-Star Game.
