What is Scott Weiland’s net worth?
Scott Weiland was an American musician who had a net worth of $2 million at the time of his death. Wayland’s career was very successful, but he struggled with drug addiction. Scott Weiland was born on October 27, 1967 in San Jose, California, his original name was Scott Richard Kline. His parents Sharon and Kent divorced when Scott was very young, and he was legally adopted by stepfather David Wayland when he was 5 years old. The family moved to Bainbridge, Ohio, and Wayland attended Kenston High School. They returned to California when Scott was 14 years old. He attended Edison High School in Huntington Beach and Orange Coast College in Orange County. In the late 1980s, he worked as a layout designer for the Los Angeles Daily, but he resigned around 1991 to pursue a career in music. In Wayland’s autobiography, he revealed that he was raped by a high school student when he was 12 years old. He said he had never dared to tell anyone what happened, and he kept suppressing his memory until he received treatment during his recovery. Weiland met Robert DeLeo at the Black Flag concert in 1986. They formed a band with David Allin and Corey Hicock. They were Scott’s childhood friends. Scott married Janina Castaneda on September 17, 1994, and they divorced six years later.
