He continued his education with the University of Texas Longhorns, where he also played sports such as college football. He was then selected by the Detroit Lions with the seventh overall pick in the 2004 NFL draft. Williams made his professional debut with the Lions in 2004, where he played for four years. As a lion, he was selected to the Super Bowl in 2006. Roy E.
