Roger Stone is an American political adviser, lobbyist, Republican strategist and writer. He served as an adviser to Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign. His publications include the man who killed Kennedy, Nixon’s secrets and the formation of the 2016 president. He is the subject of the Netflix documentary “Let Me Go Roger Stone” (2017). Roger Jason Stone Jr. was born on August 27, 1952 in Norwalk, Connecticut. His mother, Gloria Rose, is a journalist, and his father, Roger, is a businessman. He grew up in Lewisboro, New York. Stone attended high school in Westchester County, New York. He attended George Washington University, but dropped out before completing his degree.

Stone was attracted to the Republican Party when he was 12 years old. This came up shortly after reading Barry Goldwater’s book “The Conscience of Conservatives” published in 1960. He also volunteered for Goldwater’s 1964 presidential campaign. At the age of 19, Stone dropped out of college to work on Richard Nixon’s presidential re-election committee. He is the youngest player in the Watergate scandal. He worked in the Economic Opportunity Office of the Nixon Administration. In 1978, Stone co-founded the National Conservative Party Political Action Committee. In 1981 and 1985, he served as the chief strategist for Governor Thomas Kean’s campaign for the governor of New Jersey. Stone founded the lobbying company “Black, Manafort, Stone and Kelly” in 1980 with Charlie Black and Paul Manafort. The company merged with Martin B. Gold & Liebengood of Gold established BKSH & Associates in 1996. In 1989, he co-founded the “Republican Choice” political action committee. It includes members of the Republican Party who support abortion rights. Over the years, Stone has worked with many people, including Alan Spector, James Baker, Thomas Golisano, Joseph Bruno, Christine Davis and Gary Johnson. From 2012 to 2015, he was a member of the Liberal Party. He considered running for governor of Florida with the Liberal Party’s vote in 2014.
Stone was introduced to Donald Trump in 1979 by the then lawyer Roy Cohen. He has lobbied for Trump’s casino business for many years. He was the campaign manager of Trump’s 2000 reform party presidential campaign. That movement was suspended. Stone served as an adviser to Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign. He parted ways with the campaign in August 2015. In 2016, he was banned by the television networks “CNN” and “MSNBC”.
