Rocco Baldelli Net Worth: Rocco Baldelli is an American former major league baseball outfielder and designated hitter who has a net worth of $3 million. Rocco Baldelli was born on September 25, 1981 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Baldelli is known for his size and speed, and early in his career he was nicknamed The Woonsocket Rocket when referring to his hometown.
As a senior at Bishop Hendricken High School, he strained his oblique muscle but still managed to go .531-5-13 with nine steals on 32 at-bats. Baldelli excels not only in athletics, but also in the classroom, with a 4.25 average. He scored a very high 1,300 on the SAT and considered North Carolina, Wake Forest, Princeton and Yale as potential colleges. He is also a quad-sport star with statewide honors in baseball, indoor track and field, basketball and volleyball. During his subsequent career in minor league baseball, he won the Baseball American Minor League Player of the Year award. His major league debut was in 2003. Baldley played for the Tampa Bay Rays from 2003-09 before moving to the Boston Red Sox for one season (2009). He returned to the Tampa Bay Rays in 2010, but a mysterious metabolic/muscle disease caused multiple injuries and forced Baldley to retire as a player at 29. He currently works out of the Tampa Bay Rays office.
