Robb Banks is an American rapper, songwriter and social media star. He is known for projects such as “The Year of the Savage” (2016) and “C2: The Death of a Boy” (2016). He has worked with the record labels 300 Entertainment, Cash Money Records and Republic Records. Banks was born on September 24, 1994 in Brooklyn, New York, his original name was Richard O’Neill Burrell. His father Shaggy is a Reggae Fusion artist. He has siblings Taylor, Kelsey, Madison and Sydney. Banks was raised by his mother Carol Johnson in Coral Springs, Florida. According to reports, he dropped out of high school to focus on his music.

Banks first established his position on the social networking site “Tumblr”. He started sharing his music on SoundCloud at the end of 2011. Some of his earliest recordings include “Counting”, “Finest” and “Look Like Basquiat”. His first mixed tape, Calendars, was released in April 2012. Banks released two mixtapes for 2016; No Roof (2016) and C2: My Boy’s Death (2016). “No Rooftops” is led by the singles “Crunchtime” and “No Roof”. ‘C2: Death of My Teenage’ XXXTentacion appeared in the track “Innadat”. Over the years, Banks has collaborated with artists such as Sir Michael Locks, Denzel Curry and Jon Simi. His most recent projects include Cloverfield 2.0 (2017) and 2: Pillz (2017).
