Rob Black Net Worth: Rob Blake is a retired Canadian professional hockey player with a net worth of $60 million. Rob Blake was born in Simcoe, Ontario, Canada in December 1969. Before entering the NHL, he played for the Brantford Classics, Stratford Cullitons and Bowling Green Falcons. Black was selected by the Los Angeles Kings with the 70th overall pick in the 1988 NHL draft.
After 12 seasons with the Kings, he joined the Colorado Avalanche in 2000. In 2006, Black returned to the Los Angeles Kings and signed a two-year, $6 million-a-year contract. In 2008, he signed a one-year deal worth $5 million with the San Jose Sharks. He extended the deal for another year for $3.5 million. Blake retired from hockey in 2010. He reached the 1993 Stanley Cup Finals with the Kings and won the 2001 Stanley Cup with the Avalanche. Blake was named to the NHL All-Star team in 1994, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003. In 1998, he won the James Norris Memorial Trophy and was named to the NHL’s first All-Star team. Black, who represented Canada internationally, won gold medals at the 2002 Olympics, the 1994 World Championships and the 1997 World Championships. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2014.
