Risen Mikey is an American rapper and record producer. He is known for his versatility, and he performed a variety of musical styles, including hardcore, horror, diamond, and love jam. His records include Risen (2017) and Changes (2018). He is also the founder and CEO of Risen Records. Risen was born on May 6, 1994 in Martinez, California, his original name is Christian Michael Delatorre. He has three brothers and sisters, two sisters and one brother.

Risen started his music career in 2009. His biggest influences include Hopsin, Montana of 300, and Rico Recklezz. He started as a bass guitarist for the heavy metal band “Deathly Shadows”. A few months later, he and his band member Michael “Splatter” Burton began to rap under the nickname WAC. The duo performed their first performance (January 22, 2010) with all the metal bands and immediately gained followers. They continued to perform and later released their demo tape on Myspace. The two began their “Wacky to Wikid” journey through the bay area and valley. WAC eventually split, and Risen was alone. This album features cameos from Rudeboy, Cece Taylor and D-ill. It also includes the work of his childhood friend Splatter. Risen’s controversial track”[email protected]#K Donald Trump” went offline in January 2018. It triggered multiple reactions and actually made him meet with the Secret Service. His next project, Changes, followed in February 2018. The 4-track EP includes ” I Do It For The Money” and “Make Dat B!+ch Scream” and other songs. On April 5, 2018, Risen released “Throwback Risen”, which includes 7 re-released songs. He is currently making another An album called Wavy.
