Rebecca Gibney Net Worth: Rebecca Gibney is an Australian actress who has a net worth of $16 million. In the ’80s, she was a regular in movies and TV shows, and won “Gold Logie” in 2010 for her role in Packed to the Rafters. She was born in 1964, the youngest of six children in New Zealand.

She began modeling and appeared on television in the children’s series Sea Urchin from 1980 to 1984. Her major breakthrough on Australian television came in 1985 when she appeared on the children’s series The Zoo Family. She went on to play “Emma Plimpton” on the hit TV series “Flying Doctor” and in the 1990 miniseries “The Turning In”. Gibney later appeared in shows such as Stingers, Salem’s Lot, Nightmares and Dreamscapes, Tripping Over, Clubland, Halifax fp and Introducing the Dwights. She currently hosts a documentary series called Sensing Murder in New Zealand and is also working on a project called Killing Fields. Throughout her career, she has won multiple awards and nominations at AFI and Logies. In 1990, she won her first AFI Best Actress Award for her role in “Come In Spinner” , and received a peer-nominated Logie Award for her work on the show in 1991. She won the 2009 Golden Logie Award and 2009 Favorite Actress for her work on Packed to the Rafters Award. Gibney has been married twice, first to former Son of the South frontman Owen Thomas and more recently to production designer Richard Bell.
