Rato (formerly known as Miss Murato) is an American rapper, songwriter and entrepreneur. As the winner of the first season of the lifetime The Rap Game, she rose to fame. Her recordings include projects Queen of Da Souf (2020), Latto Let’Em Know (2017), Time and Pressure (2017) and singles “Response Diss” and “Broken Record Player”. Murato was born Alyssa Michele Stephens on December 22, 1998 in Ohio. Her parents are Misty Pitts and Shane. She has two siblings, Brooklyn and Kay. Rato grew up in southern Atlanta, Georgia. She attended Lovejoy High School in Clayton County.
