Phil Everly Net Worth: Phil Everly is a pioneering American rock musician who has a net worth of $20 million. Phil Everly was born on January 19, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois. Along with older brother Don, Phil is half of the aptly named musical group The Everly Brothers. Throughout the late 1950s and 1960s, The Everly Brothers released dozens of hits that topped The Billboard charts.
The Everly Brothers were one of the first inductees to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. By 1962, the brothers were making $35 million from record sales alone. Over the years, their music has been covered by hundreds of well-known artists. The brothers fought each other fiercely on and off stage. The most famous fight occurred during a 1973 show at Notts Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. Don was said to be drunk at the concert, which angered Phil. Don smashed his guitar on stage and infamously declared “I’m not a brother forever!”. After this blowout, the brothers did not speak for more than ten years. Only once, at their father’s funeral, was the deadlock broken. Throughout the ’70s and ’80s, both brothers released solo albums. A few reunion shows have been organized over the years, but their relationship is still fairly strained. Phil Everly died on January 3, 2014 at a hospital in Bubank, California, from complications of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. He is 74 years old.
