early life
Alden Joseph Brown was born on May 11, 1957 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Before he moved to Los Angeles, his early life was relatively normal. In the early ’80s, he modeled sportswear at a private party, where he was spotted by a man in the adult film industry. The man was impressed with Brown’s physique and encouraged him to get a job as an adult film actor. Alden got the man’s business card, and he quickly followed up on the opportunity.
Profession
Alden originally started his career as an adult film star by starring in gay porn. During this time in the early ’80s, his stage name was Matt Ramsay. Later, he transitioned into pure porn and became a better known star. Over the remainder of his career, he starred in more than 2,000 adult film projects and directed more than 70 films. Most of his career was between 1998 and 2007. In 2001, he started his own production company called Northpole Entertainment. After turning to pure pornography, Alden adopted the name “Peter North.”

Peter North was one of many being investigated when the U.S. government began investigating Traci Lords’ involvement in the sex industry as a minor. Traci faked her identification and was able to start acting when she was 16 years old. This of course violates U.S. law, as minors cannot legally consent to sex. North participated in several sex scenes with Rhodes when she was underage, which could have legal consequences for North. However, the investigation was eventually dropped when it became clear that no one really knew Traci’s true age.
North agreed, saying Tracy had “deceived a lot of people.” He also claimed she was aggressive towards people off-camera, a combative behavior he believed undercut her claims that the porn industry had “corrupted her”.

Legal Issues
In 2019, Nadia applied for a restraining order from her husband. This comes after Nadia allegedly fell victim to domestic violence on two separate occasions that year. One of the incidents allegedly resulted in Nadia suffering a concussion. Later, Nadia claimed that she had suffered 20 similar incidents of domestic violence and that North was the perpetrator.
In 2021, things will reportedly get even more serious. Nadia went on to accuse North of numerous incidents of marital misconduct and sexual crimes. She even claimed that Peter North raped her on at least one occasion. To back up her claims, Nadia recorded audio of one of the attacks, which took place at their Newport Beach home. She claims she hid her phone under the bed during the attack, which allegedly involved North throwing her to the floor and kicking her in the back of the head. The incident was sparked by Nadia threatening to leave the relationship.
After the attack, Nadia claimed that North force-fed her prescription drugs, blocked the door, and waited for her to fall asleep. Nadia also claims she suffered multiple injuries as a result of Peter’s domestic violence between 2017 and 2019. The injuries apparently included a broken rib, concussion, head contusion and at least one spinal cord injury.
The alleged rape occurred in 2019 when the couple were trying to sell a home with mold damage. Peter asked them both to go to the house to see the moulds, and allegedly forced himself to face her once they were there, despite his complete lack of consent. In addition, Peter was accused of forcing his wife to shoot multiple “extreme scenes” in a short period of time while they were filming an adult film project together.
