Haggis served as the producer, screenwriter and director of the ABC TV series “Thirties” (1987-88). He created the crime series “Due South” for CTV and CBS. From April 1994 to March 1999, a total of 4 seasons were broadcast. The play has won two Emmy Awards, one of which is an Outstanding Drama Award. Haggis co-authored the CBS series Walker, Texas Ranger (1993-2001) and Family Law (1999-2002). His television works also include “City”, “EZ Streets”, “The Black Donnellys” and “Show Me a Hero”.

It was named the best film of 2005 by American critic Roger Albert. Haggis directed the movie “Ella Valley” (2007) starring Tommy Lee Jones, “The Next Three Days” starring Russell Crowe (2010) and “Third Person” starring Liam Neeson “(year 2013).
