PartyNextDoor is a Canadian singer, songwriter and producer. He was born on July 3, 1993 in Mississauga, Ontario, and his original name was Jahron Anthony Brathwaite. His mother is Jamaican and his father is Trinidad. PartyNextDoor began to compose music under his abbreviation Jahron B. He was discovered on Myspace at the age of 17. He finally reached a publishing agreement with Warner/Chappell as a songwriter.

In 2013, PartyNextDoor became the first artist to sign with Drake’s record company OVO Sound. His first EP PartyNextDoor of the same name was released on July 1, 2013.
