Orlando Bloom is a British actor and film producer. He is known for films such as The Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean. Orlando Jonathan Blanchard Bloom was born on January 13, 1977 in Canterbury, Kent. He was raised by his mother Sonia and his late stepfather Harry Bloom. His biological father was Colin Stone. Bloom moved to London in 1993. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and later joined the National Youth Theatre. Bloom went on to study at the Anglo-American Academy of Drama and later at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He graduated in 1999.
