Nikki Bella is an American former professional wrestler who played for WWE (SmackDown). Highlights of her wrestling career include 2-time WWE Divas Champion and Rolling Stone’s 2015 Diva of the Year. She is the longest-reigning Divas Champion in the title’s history. In addition to wrestling, Bella is an actress, model, and licensed real estate agent. Her screen work includes the reality series Total Divas, Total Bellas and Dancing with the Stars.
Bella was born Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Coles on November 21, 1983 in San Diego, California. She has a twin sister, Brianna “Brie” Bella, and together they make up the Bella Twins. Her parents are Jon Garcia and Kathy Coles. She also has a brother named JJ Garcia. Bella grew up on a farm in Scottsdale, Arizona. She played soccer in elementary school and graduated from Chaparral High School. She studied briefly at Grossmont College in El Cajon, California.

The Bella Sisters had a failed attempt at WWE Raw Diva Search in 2006. They signed with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in the spring of 2007. They were assigned to the Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) in Tampa, Florida. Known as the “Bella Twins,” the duo beat Nattie Neidhart and Krissy Vaine in their September 2007 debut. They have participated in FCW, Divas Championships, NXT and various storylines. They were named Best Female Athlete at the 2016 Teen Choice Awards.
Nikki made his SmackDown debut in November 2008. She won her first WWE Divas Champion belt in April 2012. During her second reign as Divas Champion, she held on to the title for a record 301 days. In March 2019, the Bella sisters announced their retirement from wrestling.

Nikki and Brie are currently starring in the reality series Total Divas. The show premiered on E! July 2013. As of May 2017, six quarters have been completed.
