Nick Lachey is an American singer, songwriter, actor and television personality. His studio albums include SoulO (2003), What’s Left of Me (2006) and Soundtrack of My Life (2014). Luckey was born Nicholas Scott Luckey on November 9, 1973, in Harlan, Kentucky. His parents are Cate Fopma-Leimbach and John Lachey. His brother Drew is a singer and songwriter. He has two adopted siblings, Zach and Caitlin, a half-brother Isaac and a step-sister Josie. Lachey attended the School of Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, Ohio. He also attended the University of Southern California and Miami University in Ohio. He majored in sports medicine but never completed his degree.

Lachey started out as a member of the pop and contemporary boy band 98 Degrees. The group was established in 1997 in Los Angeles, California. Luckey and his then-wife Jessica Simpson starred in the MTV reality series “The Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.” From August 2003 to March 2005, a total of 3 seasons aired. The show basically follows the couple’s marriage and how they spent their time. Lachey hosted the NBC singing competition series “The Sing-Off” from 2009 to 2014. He hosted the VH1 news and talk show “Big Morning Buzz Live” from 2014 to 2015. He has guest starred in Charmed, Hope & Faith, One Tree Hill and Hawaii 5-0. Larch played “Jason Burns” in the crime film “The Easy” (2006). He made a cameo appearance in Rise: Blood Hunter (2007) with Lucy Liu and Michael Chiklis. In September 2017, Lachy was announced as a contestant on Dancing With the Stars season 25. His partner is professional Latin dancer Peta Murgatroyd. The season will premiere on ABC on September 18, 2017.
