Nick Carter is an American singer, songwriter and actor. He is the youngest member of the pop band Backstreet Boys. His solo albums include Now or Never (2002), I’m Take Off (2011) and All American (2015). His acting works include the “Carter’s House” series as well as the movies Hollow (2004) and Speed of Killing (2010). Nickolas Gene Carter was born on January 28, 1980 in Jamestown, New York. His parents are Jane and Robert (died 2017). He has three living siblings, Bobbie Jean, Angel and Aaron Carter. His sister Leslie died in 2012 from a drug overdose. Carter attended Miles Elementary School. He took a dance/vocal course at Karl and Di Marco’s School of Drama and Dance.

Carter started his music career at a very young age. In addition to vocals, he can also play guitar and drums. He auditioned for the Mickey Mouse Club in 1991 and the Backstreet Boys in 1992. As for acting, Carter began to engage in commercial advertising and school drama. He appeared as an unsigned extra in “Edward Scissorhands” (1990) starring Johnny Depp. Other early performances include American Dream, Sesame Street, Arthur and 8 Simple Rules. Carter played “Brody” with Kevin Ziggs in the teenage horror film “Hollow” (2004). He appeared with his four siblings in the documentary/reality show series “House of Carters” (2006). He was selected as the “Foreman” in the action film “Kill Speed” (2010). Carter directed and starred in the short film “Pendant” (2010). He wrote and starred in “Jack” in the zombie western film “Death 7” (2016). Carter made guest appearances with Dr. Phil, 90210 and Late Night and Jimmy Fallon.
